Just wanted to share how I built my body back in about six months. I took a long hiatus from bodybuilding type training for a while. I traveled for work a lot, I did some jiu-jitsu training and yoga for a long time too. Life has different seasons.
The past 7 months have been about more than just building muscle; they’ve been about rebuilding myself. After leaving a toxic job that drained me, I decided to dive back into my passion for bodybuilding, something my late father and I always shared. We trained together for years, and I’ve carried that love for fitness with me.
37 years young, 5’10” Starting at a skinny fat 168lbs, I gained 32lbs by focusing on hypertrophy with a basic plan , training shoulders, arms, chest, and legs with progressive overload, incorporating push / pull legs as a routine. Supplements are Creatine, amino acids, and some basic foods but still living life . This hasn’t been just about physical growth. It was about finding my strength again, mentally and emotionally.
During this time, life threw its challenges my way, but I stuck with it, pushing through the stress and using the gym as my outlet. My father’s memory and our time training together keeps me going, reminding me that fitness has always been a part of who I am. I enjoy the camaraderie on these boards big time .
The last 3 weeks I have been running YMS test C at 160mg week. This summer I’m going to add some mast / var in the mix after next bloodwork . I’m doing SATRT (self administered TRT ) because I think the mens clinics up charge the fuck out of people and take advantage of lack of education (just my opinion) . My dad taught me a fuck ton about gear and I’ve always been smart about it. I haven’t used any exogenous form of test since I was 25 (so about 12 years now )
I’m also going to split this journal log into a mini testimonial for YMS.
So far, 3 weeks in at 160mg of test c here’s what’s changed
I feel more pumped
Look fuller
Sex drive is ramping up
Nerves / petty anxiety is going away
I have more zest for life
So excited of the changes to come . As I gradually progress, there will be additions and blasts which I will bounce off this group. Curious if you folks can check out my progress pics so far and give me any feedback / suggestions
My goal is to get as big and strong as possible . I may focus on recomp / cutting soon not sure yet . Keeping it simple
