Hi everyone i am 38 and lately i just have not been feeling like myself i am more tired than usual gaining weight more easily not sleeping great and my mood and sex drive are all over the place my periods have also started to change

I got my hormones tested and my doctor said the numbers are normal but some are low i am wondering if this is the start of perimenopause or something else

Has anyone else felt this way in their late 30s? Did you try hormone therapy or more natural stuff first what actually helped you guys

Hey @sara , thanks for sharing you're definitely not alone. What you're describing sounds a lot like perimenopause, especially with mood swings, low energy, disrupted sleep, and changes in cycle.
Some women benefit from bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT), while others start with more natural options like vitamin D, magnesium, ashwagandha, or maca root to help balance things gently.

Definitely worth tracking your symptoms and maybe even getting a second opinion from a hormone specialist. Hope you start feeling like yourself again soon.

I can’t personally relate to what you’re going through, but it sounds like something a lot of people experience in their late 30s.

I’ve heard that perimenopause can start earlier than people expect, and it can definitely affect energy, mood, sleep, and more. A lot of folks try lifestyle changes first like improving sleep, diet, stress levels and some explore hormone therapy if things don’t improve.

Hope you find something that helps you feel more like yourself soon.
